Atomic Structure Math

Since the number of protons, neutrons and electrons are linked together with identity, mass number and charge, we can do some simple calculations.

Atomic number = number of protons

Mass number = # of protons + # of neutrons

Charge = # of protons - # of electrons (the minus deals with the charge)

With those two formulas in mind we can fill out the following table:
